Allergy Clinic Patient Information Sheet | Maya

Patient Name: Maya
Age: 10 years old
Sex: Female

Reason for Visit to the Clinic: Maya came to the clinic because she has noticed that she often has abdominal cramps, bloating, and gas after drinking milk or eating foods that have milk in them. Sometimes, she has nausea and vomiting as well, but not all the time. Maya tells the doctor that the symptoms usually begin 30–60 minutes after drinking milk. Usually, the symptoms last a couple of hours.

Other information: She sometimes gets the same symptoms after eating some dairy foods, but she can eat other dairy foods without too many problems.
